Serve on an FDA Panel

As members of an elite professional medical society comprising physicians and researchers dedicated to understanding and treating the entire spectrum of venous and lymphatic disorders, it is incumbent upon us to provide leading expert advice to members of the FDA.

AVF would like to put forward a recommended list of AVF members to serve two to four year terms on the Circulatory Systems Devices Panel, the General and Plastic Surgery Panel, or the Radiological Devices Panel.

To be considered for this role, please submit the following information to the AVF Office (info@veinforum.org) by November 1, 2014 to be recommend this calendar year:

  • A current CV and bibliography
  • A letter stating:
    • That you are willing to serve in this capacity;
    • That you are qualified to serve in this capacity;
    • That you do not have a conflict of interest that would adversely affect the integrity of the regulatory review process.
