Submit a New Concept Proposal

The Mission of the American Venous Forum is to improve the care of patients with venous and lymphatic disorders by providing a forum dedicated to the clinical practice and education and to the exchange of information concerning basic and clinical research pertaining to the venous and lymphatic systems.

The AVF welcomes concept ideas from the AVF membership that help advance the mission of AVF. As new concepts/initiatives are proposed, the AVF Board of Directors will review the proposal to determine if the concept is in line with the strategic plan of the American Venous Forum.

Below is an outline of the required information for presentation to the AVF Board.

New Concept Proposals will only be approved when the AVF has ample resources to take on a new initiative. If the concept is approved by AVF and funding from the American Venous Forum Foundation is necessary, a grant requisition must be developed. The grant requisition with supporting documentation will be presented to the AVFF Board of Directors for review.

NOTE: Absolutely no activity can begin until both the AVF and AVFF approvals are in place and documented in the AVF office.
