Complete free venous disease assessment
Your risk of venous disease increases with the following factors:
- Prior history of a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT, blood clot)
- Family history of a DVT or Pulmonary Embolism (PE)
- Congestive heart failure
- Acute infection
- Cancer therapy
- Restricted mobility
- Intensive care admission
- Estrogen use, oral contraceptives
- Inflammatory bowel disease
- Varicose veins
Often venous disease goes undetected and undiagnosed because there may be no symptoms. Screening offers an opportunity to know if you are at risk or have venous disease so that you may be treated as soon as possible with appropriate therapy.
